I ADORE vintage finds - especially the mid century flavor. The funky colors, the beautiful wood, the clean lines. This 1968 ranch is full of original surprises that we kept intact because when it works + when it can't be replaced: it's extra special!
BEFORE + AFTERS
When the appliances and sinks come in a suite of avocado - you embrace it. All are in tip-top condition - the oven barely used! You just can't buy these anymore. The floor was another story - but the marmo is a modern version of 1960's vinyl.
The wood trim and doors, the glitter dusted ceilings + the vintage light fixtures all contribute to the unique character of this home. The bathrooms have their own color personality and we highlighted with wallpaper and flooring.
BEFORE + AFTERS
The basement is amazing! The ceilings are so tall and it's such a spacious room. The previous owner was creating his own social club! With a seperate entrance, fireplace, pool table (and light!), he was gearing up for what looked to be a legit bar (plumbing, excessive lighting for back of bar and over the guests). We had an electrician help us clean up and modernize the wiring and left the wall plumbed and ready for new owner's vision.
It was quite the project removing the old vinyl tiles. While some were barely adhered - others took 5 men, rented equipment and specialty tools to finally release them from their grip! Instead of the usual grey concrete - the room seemed to want some color.
